Ladbrokes Poker continues to run incredible promotions and recently made things much easier on their UK customers. After years or playing in other currencies members can now take advantage of the Great British Pound Cash Game tables. This allows players to not have to worry about currency conversion and play against fellow countrymen. To get these tables going, Ladbrokes decided to toss in a “small” incentive in a brand new Mini Cooper worth an estimated £14,000.
For those unfamiliar with the Mini Cooper it is a European sports car that is known for it’s pocket-size, speed, and maneuverability. Movie buffs might recognize the “Mini” from the hit films “The Italian Job” starring Mark Wahlberg and Charlize Theron as well as “Austin Powers” starring Mike Meyers. These cars can really fly and are quite popular across the pond. The specific model up for grabs has the special Union Jack roof which is the symbol (and flag) for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
In order to become eligible for the prize just find your way to Ladbrokes and deposit as little as £5. From there you will need to enter your details in the prize claim form on this page which is just your Email Address and Customer ID. After hitting the “claim now” button you will automatically be entered into the Mini Cooper contest drawing. Standard terms and conditions apply and you MUST have created a new (or have an existing) account AND earn 50 Player Points before March 6th, 2010.
In order to earn 50 player points you must play in real money cash games, tournaments, and/or SNGs. As you pay rake in cash games or fees in the tournaments you will generate Player Points that can be put to good use in the form of prizes, entry fees, or clearing bonuses. For every $1 you generate in cash game rake you will earn 10 player points, the same can be said for tournament fees. For example, competing in a $20+$2 SNG will earn you 20 points. This means in order to become eligible for the Mini Cooper promo you have to pay just $5 in rake!
Besides the Mini Cooper promotion there are a few other good deals running around the clock at Ladbrokes Poker. Their deposit bonus is quite unique in that no matter the amount you deposit (as long as it’s at least £30 /$50) you can earn up to £600 /$1000. After depositing you will then have 45 days to claim enough Player Points to reach certain rungs on their bonus ladder. If you are able to earn 35,000 Player Points you will receive the maximum possible bonus. For those who cannot generate such a large amount of points you can still earn a decent amount of money. For example, earning 7,500 points will net you $225 in bonus money.
Coming in the near future is the Easter Mini Festival between April 2nd-5th. Every night there will be at least two events and the series has a minimum £250,000 in guaranteed prizes. The tournament series will have games for all players including Hold’em, Stud, Omaha, as well as many different formats.
