Ladbrokes Poker Bonus and Promotions

March 10, 2009 at 8:47 pm | Poker News | | Written by: spenda

Ladbrokes Poker is happy to introduce a new sign-up bonus worth $1,000! The sign-up bonus is contingent on the size of an intial deposit and the amount of qualifying raked hands played with in 30 days.  In order to receive the full $1,000 bonus a player must deposit at least $1,000 and play 10,000 qualifying raked hands.  There are five bonus options with different deposit and raked hand requirements for each includung: $50 ($50 deposit, 600 hands) $100 ($100, 1,200) $250 ($250, 3,000) $500 ($500, 5,500) and the aforementiond $1,000 bonus.

This is a great bonus for players looking to build a bankroll one one of the world’s best poker sites.  On top of this great sign-up bonus Ladbrokes is running many profitable promotions for their player base. Labrokes recently introduced their “$1,000,000 Rake Race” which pays out $1,000,000 in monthly prizes for up to 3,000 players. The player contributing the most rake through real-money poker tables receives $20,000 each month.  If you are not a high-volume player, do not fret as 3,000 players are guaranteed at least a $50 prize.  However, do not let time go to waste, as this promotion appears to finish at the end on April.

If you enjoy tournaments over cash games Labrokes has you covered as well.  This year Ladbrokes is looking to send more players than ever to Las Vegas during the 2009 World Series of Poker.  Compete in satellites with a chance to realize your very own “Vegas Dream”.  The Vegas Dream package includes:

  • 7 nights accommodation for two in Las Vegas in the week the Main Event commences.
    • Staying on the Strip at the luxurious Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino
    • Free extension for all Vegas Dream satellite winners who make Day 2.
  • $2,000 travel expenses
  • $1,050 Buy-In to Vegas Dream Satellite
    • Top 10% win $10,000 Main Event Buy-In
  • $ 220 Second Chance Satellite
    • Two added Main Event Buy-In’s
  • $110 Last Chance Satellite
    • Added Main Event Buy-In for highest Team Ladbrokes finisher
  • Exclusive Ladbrokes social events, including 2 tickets to the Ladbrokes Vegas Dream Party at the spectacular roof top VooDoo Lounge.
  • Coaching from Team Captains:
    • Jon “Skalie” Kalmar – 2007 Final Table
    • Steve “fivek” Davis – 2008 & 2006 Money Winner
  • Vegas Dream Team merchandise

There are only a few caveats to this package.  First of all, players cannot exchange the first package they win for money.  If a player wins a package and is unable to attend he/she must attempt to sell the pacakge to another Ladbrokes player.  Also, those fortunate enough to make is past Day 2 at the WSOP Main Event will have to personally change their  travel arrangements.

Finally, Ladrokes is still happy to offer their own Bad Beat Jackpot.  In order to “win” the Bad Beat Jackpot a player must lose a hand holding four-of-a-kind, Eights or better.  The hand must be played on a jackpot table and in a rake pot with at least four players.  Finally, both players must use both cards from their hand in order to be eligible for the prize.  The “losing” player will receive 50% of the Bad Beat Jackpot while the winner will receive 25% and the other 25% will be split across the remainding players at the table.
