CDPoker.com Review
CDPoker opened its virtual doors in 2004. It’s a proud member of the big iPoker network, which also includes other prominent rooms such as Titan Poker and many others. Because of its affiliation to the iPoker network, you will benefit immensely in all the things that matter a lot, such as amounts of fish and amounts of juicy games available, and all the things that matter a bit less but still matter a lot, such as an excellent interface. Unfortunately, CDPoker does not accept US Players for the time being.
So what do you get at CDPoker? Play in up to four poker games, which are Texas Hold'em, Stud, Omaha, and Omaha Hi-Lo, in limit, no-limit and pot-limit for the appropriate games. You also get some other casino games including Blackjack and a few video poker-type games. All the games available can be played for real money. CDPoker does not, however, offer 7-Card Stud. The limits are a bit smaller when compared to other rooms however: the stakes for No-Limit max out at $5/$10 (1000NL) and Limit max out at $10/20. Also available are Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs) that frequently attract between 50 and 100 players (or about 500 for their daily freerolls); 6 player and 10 player sit-n-goes (SNGs; and Heads-Up tourneys.
CDPoker.com Software and Interface/Usability
Uniquely available to CDPoker, are two views to witness the action from: you have the the typical bird's-eye Top View, or in the seated player's point of view called Side View. Both are fairly good-looking, but the Side View is especially neat. It has 3D animated avatars that actually move. And the avatars also speak their actions. If you haven't seen this before, it's definitely worth a peek.
The CDPoker table window is a bit large and in the default Side Chat mode, the added chat window makes it especially bulky. CDPoker offers a Table Chat mode that gets rid of the extra side chat window and instead gives you a small, floating chat window that may be moved around within the table window, but curiously, this mode doesn't allow you to type anything into the chat.
CDPoker's also features graphical hand histories showing images of all the cards of every hand played. These hand histories are pretty to look at, but functionally, you may find them a bit limited as to being a bit awkward to read and use.
During play, there is a mini mode you can use for resizing, but tables are not allowed to be custom resized. In effect, you can only play on a big table or a small table (per every table, obviously).

VIP Rewards Program
